Responsibilities:
1. Understand all CEATI programs and service offerings and their interaction.
2. Identify and address the needs and goals of our utility partners.
3. Build effective networks and working relationships with key stakeholders and especially clients, current and future.
4. Oversee projects, including scope, deliverables, schedule and financial performance, approve expenditures and manage outsourced consulting services.
5. Maintain high-quality service through project delivery, strong communication with clients and acting on feedback.
6. Provide clear communication to clients and project personnel.
7. Ensure that solutions offered reflect the needs of private sector, local, municipal, provincial/state and federal clients, as required.
8. Maintain & enhance existing client relations.
9. Lead and direct business development activities.
10. Drive a growing portfolio of projects, workshops, webinars and conferences to serve the needs of our clients.
11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and anticipate the future direction.
12. Foster a spirit of enthusiasm, quality, and client focus.
13. Must have the ability and willingness to travel (generally 8 – 12 short trips per year).
14. Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in electrical power.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in electric utilities or related work for a consultant, service provider or manufacturer.
3. Able to multi-task and meet numerous program and project deadlines.
4. Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong desire to succeed.
5. Ability and skill to manage competing priorities, risks and schedules.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. High ethical standards aligned with CEATI’s corporate policy, vision, Mission and Values.
8. Ability to work responsibly and collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Good initiative and a “can do” attitude, attention to detail.
10. Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or holder of an open work permit.
