DESCRIPTION SOMMAIRE DES FONCTIONS

Relevant du Vice-président Amélioration opérationnelle, vous serez responsable de la conception, du déploiement, de la mise en œuvre et de la pérennité des programmes d’excellence manufacturière (ÉVOLUTION), incluant mais n’étant pas limité à la gestion quotidienne des opérations (DMS) et des programmes amélioration continue (CI). Vous travaillerez en collaboration avec les directeurs d’usine et les chefs performance à établir et prioriser des opportunités financières et opérationnelles et à implanter des solutions visant à atteindre des cibles à court, moyen et long terme. Plus particulièrement, le titulaire :

• Soutient les directeurs d’usine et chefs performance dans l’appropriation sur site des programmes et de la culture nécessaire à leur pérennisation
• Assure la standardisation de la performance des usines ou les programmes seront déployés
• Régit la tenue d’audits internes en vue de la certification et audit de validation permettant d’assurer le partage des meilleures pratiques à l’interne dans un mode « networking » et « benchmarking »
• Assure le leadership au niveau des équipes de déploiement (alignement et la cohérence entre le capital humain, la qualité, la SST et les besoins de l’usine)
• Avec les départements de service corporatif, assure la cohérence des programmes entre la sécurité, la qualité et la productivité
• Est responsable des consultants et des livrables de leurs équipes
• Participe à l’identification des opportunités financières et opérationnelles
• Met en œuvre et anime des groupes d’amélioration réseau et usine
• Représente Agropur lors des salons des meilleures pratiques d’affaires   

EXIGENCES

• Baccalauréat en génie industriel, en administration ou autres domaines pertinents
• Posséder un minimum de 15 années de gestion au sein d’opérations manufacturières (directeur d’usine, directeur industriel, etc.) dont au moins 5 années d’expérience dans des environnements Lean Six Sigma, DMS, etc.
• Connaissance des processus de résolution de problème systématiques (Six Sigma, Lean, PDCA, 7 Step, Kepner Tregoe, etc.)
• Certification Black Belt et/ou Lean Master requise 
• Forte acuité financière (indicateurs de performance, gestion horizontale)
• Fortes aptitudes interpersonnelles, excellent communicateur, aisance à interagir avec tous les niveaux de l’organisation.
• Bilinguisme français et anglais, parlé et écrit, essentiel 
• Doit être apte à voyager sur une base régulière à travers les différents sites de l’entreprise (Canada/États-Unis)

OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENT DIRECTOR
SAINT-HUBERT, QUEBEC

OUTLINE OF DUTIES

Reporting to the Vice-President Operational Improvement, you shall be in charge of devising, rolling out and activating the manufacturing excellence programs (EVOLUTION), including but not limited to the daily management system (DMS) and the continuous improvement (CI) programs, and ensuring their sustainability and longevity. You shall work in tandem with the plant managers and the performance managers on determining and prioritizing financial and operational opportunities, and implementing solutions aimed at meeting short, medium and long term targets.  More specifically, your duties will involve:
 

• Supporting the plant managers and the performance managers in their endeavours to entrench the programs onsite, along with the mindset required for their sustainability and longevity
• Standardizing the performance of the plants where the programs are being rolled out;
• Administering the internal audits that need to be conducted for certification purposes and the validation audits that will make it possible to share, network and benchmark best practices internally
• Leading the program deployment teams (fostering coherence between Human Capital, OHS and the plant’s needs, and ensuring everyone’s on the same page)
• Together with the various corporate departments, ensuring the programs are coherent from a safety, quality and productivity standpoint
• Being responsible for the consultants and their teams’ deliverables
• Taking part in the process of identifying financial and operational opportunities
• Setting up and facilitating network and plant improvement taskforces
• Representing Agropur at best business practices shows

               
REQUIREMENTS
 

• Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Administration or other relevant field
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing manufacturing operations (plant manager, industrial manager, etc.) including at least 5 years of experience working in such environments as Lean Six Sigma, DMS, etc.
• Knowledge of systematic problem solving processes (Six Sigma, Lean, PDCA, 7 Step, Kepner Tregoe, etc.)
• Black Belt and/or Lean Master Certification required
• Strong financial acumen (key performance indicators, horizontal management)
• Strong people skills, excellent communicator, comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization
• Bilingualism essential – spoken and written English and French
• Must be available for travel to the organization’s various sites (Canada-U.S.) on a regular basis
