Ingénieure et titulaire d'un doctorat en qualité de l'air, d’une maîtrise M. Sc. ainsi que d’un diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisées en environnement, Wafa œuvre dans le domaine de l'environnement depuis 27 ans. Actuellement, elle occupe le poste d’ingénieure principale et de directrice au sein d’une compagnie destinée à fournir des services techniques de haut niveau, dans le domaine de la qualité de l’air intérieur aux milieux résidentiels, commercial et institutionnel. Ses principaux champs d'expertise portent notamment sur l'investigation de la qualité de l'air intérieur, l'identification des sources de pollution, les mesures et l'échantillonnage des différents polluants ainsi que les recommandations de solutions afin d'améliorer la qualité de l’environnement à l’intérieur des bâtiments.
