A Committed Board

Driven by a shared vision and a range of complementary expertise, our Board of Directors provides strategic guidance to Genium360 to ensure its growth and sustainability.

Why get involved with the Board?

Joining the Board of Directors means taking up a key role in Genium360's strategy. This mandate, for an initial term of two years and renewable up to a maximum of six years, offers the opportunity to actively participate in six annual meetings and several committee meetings.

From the moment you join us, you'll benefit from governance training designed to familiarize you with our issues and practices, while benefiting from dedicated administrative support to facilitate your strategic contribution. This commitment also translates into concrete recognition of your involvement.

Genium360's Board of Directors in practice

The Board's day-to-day operations are based on processes designed to guarantee efficiency and transparency. New directors are provided with in-depth training to familiarize them with the board’s by-laws, policies and operating rules. At the beginning of each year, a detailed schedule of Board and committee meetings is drawn up to ensure optimum planning of work and deadlines.

To reward preparation, attendance and commitment at meetings, a token compensation is offered, and mileage, transportation and accommodation expenses are reimbursed according to an internal policy. All administrative tasks are handled by the assistant corporate secretary, supported by the permanent staff, permitting board members to focus their energy on strategic issues.

The Nomination Process

Board members are selected through a rigorous and transparent process. The nomination period, determined by our General By-Laws, is announced by a notice distributed to all Genium360 voting members (engineering graduates in Canada and members of the OIQ).

Interested candidates then complete an application file, which is carefully examined by the Elections Committee. After an initial selection based on the validity of the applications, interviews are conducted to confirm their suitability. One week before voting begins, the committee personally informs the selected candidates.
