Which career options are available in engineering? What are the most sought after profiles with today’s businesses? How to choose the right internship? What is the reality of the first years of work in the engineering field?

For its 7th edition, the Astuces Carrière event, presented by the RéseauIQ and its partners, La Personnelle and Desjardins, is coming back with a brand new concept that includes exhibition spaces for businesses, supervised speed consulting sessions as well as a networking cocktail.

Presented before the Inventing tomorrow’s world contest’s award gala, the event will gather both students and engineering professionals in order to create opportunities to exchange and share useful insights, as well as giving students the right tools in different aspects of their career.

A stimulating and engaging concept

10 engineering professionals from different fields as well as more than a hundred students will partake in the exercise. Gathered in small groups around a table, the participants will engage in discussions on specific subjects for a 15 minutes period and will then go on to another table.
